Cappadocia –Eastern Turkey Package

Day 1
Meet your guide and driver at Kayseri airport
and drive to visit Soganli village and the
rock churches. After a short drive visit The
Taskinpasa mosque from 13th cent. Our last visit
in the morning is Keslik monastery. After having
lunch in a village house, walk in Mustafapasa town
and drive to visit Kaymakli underground city which
is the largest of all others in Cappadocia. We
drive to visit the local carpet and kilim
workshops and drive to Urgup. Overnight in Urgup
in a top quality cave hotel uniqe to Cappadocia.
Day 2
Today we discover the surreal landscape
of Cappadocia. Visit The Fairy Chimneys,
troglodyte dwellings and valleys. Visit Dervent
and Pasabag Valleys wher you will visit the
starange lunar landscape of the land, Zelve and
Goreme Open air Museums where you will enjoy the
fantastic rock churches and beautiful frescos from
various centuries decorating the walls of the
churches, Avanos town which is famous with tile
and pottery workshops and stop at Uchisar.Overnight
in Cappadocia.
Day 3
In the morning Drive to Adıyaman / Kahta via
Taurus mountains. After lunch at Tekir Plateau
drive to Kahramanmaras where you will taste the
world famous icecream and arrive at Kahta.
Overnight in Kahta.
Day 4
We will depart at 4 am in the morning to watch
the sun rise on Mt. Nemrut. After we tour the
burial mound at the peak of the mountain and
observe the gigantic statues of Commagene kingdom
we will continue to Cendere Bridge and Karakus
Tumuli. After breakfast drive to Urfa via
Ataturk Dam which is the 4th largest project in
the world.We depart for Harran which was the place
where god told Abraham to seed his generations.
Visit Balikli Gol and City Center after
lunch. Overnight in SanliUrfa.
Day 5
Enjoy the fantastic acient bazaar of Sanlıurfa
and transfer to the airport for the flight to
Istanbul. |
